Unfortunately, no mosquito treatment will completely eliminate mosquitos from your yard. Not even synthetic treatments can obtain this. There is always a chance that mosquitos will fly in from other yards, but the barrier will keep the vast majority of them away. Our all-natural, plant-based solution works by using essential oils toxic to mosquitos. On the initial treatment, the solution will kill any mosquitos that come into contact with it. Once the solution settles and dries, the smell will continue to repel the mosquitos and ticks for roughly three weeks. We treat standing water as well to prevent larvae growth. We use BTI dunks for large areas, and for smaller areas, we spray a thicker solution to create a film on the surface that suffocates the larvae.
